1. FAQs for Individuals

  1. What is the MoneyLife Indicator (MLI) and how will it help me?

    This Assessment tool was created to show you your score (0 to 100) pertaining to beliefs and behaviors in the 9 stewardship areas. When you know your scores in each area, you can implement a plan to grow as a faithful manager of God's resources.

  2. How do we save our assessment to our computers?

    After you have completed your assessment, the system will send you an email with a link to your results. Once you access your results, use the normal steps to save a file from your preferred web browser.

  3. How can I interpret my MoneyLife Indicator assessment?

    There are two ways to take the Individual Assessment. One option is to simply take the assessment and review the results yourself. The report will have recommendations based on your three lowest scores for both your beliefs and behaviors. The second option is to take the assessment through a trained MoneyLife Indicator Consultant. For a nominal fee, the Consultant will help you understand your results and assist you in finding the best possible solutions to strengthen you as you manage God's resources.   4. If my scores are low and I want to improve, what are my next steps?

    There are a few avenues available to you. You can go to the Crown store to purchase one or more of the resources recommended in your report. You can also visit the Events section of Crown's website to find trainings or classes in your area that will be beneficial for your journey. Another option is to utilize Crown Connect, a helpful on-line repository of Crown resources. 

  5. How do I find a Crown representative in my area?

  6. If I have too much debt, what does Crown recommend?

    If you subscribe to Crown Connect, you will have on-line access to numerous resources that address this topic. If you do not subscribe, go to Crown's product store for information on resources such as the Eliminating Debt Package and the MoneyLife Personal Finance Study. You can also find information on Crown's website regarding MoneyLife Mentoring and our partnership with Christian Credit Counselors

  7. How can I access the free articles, downloads and calculators that Crown has?

    Visit the Find Help/Personal section of Crown.org, where you will find various resources to help you on your journey.

  8. How does Crown intend to use my email address? Will I start to receive email communications from the ministry after taking the assessment?

    Crown will from time to time send you promotions that could assist you in your journey to become a faithful steward. You always have the option to unsubscribe if you do not want to receive any promotional information from Crown.

  1. How can this assessment help our marriage?

    Spouses often struggle in their relationship when it comes to money. By identifying the scores of both spouses regarding belief and behavior in the 9 stewardship areas, both spouses can begin to understand why they make certain financial choices. An action plan to improve areas of weakness can also assist couples who want to grow closer and hold each other accountable.

  2. How do we save our assessment to our computers?

3. FAQ’s for Groups or Small Group Leaders

  1. How can I obtain a Group Report?

    Group reports can only be obtained through a trained MoneyLife Indicator Consultant. To get connected with a Consultant, please CONTACT US

  2. Will the group report be anonymous?

    Group Reports are done within the safety of a closed group environment. Although the assessment is not anonymous, the Group Report will only include the scores. The individual names associated with those scores will not be disclosed when the results are presented.

  1. What benefits will my congregation/organization/business receive by doing the assessment?

    It is invaluable for you as a leader to understand the beliefs and behaviors that drive the people in your congregation or organization.  This assessment will empower you with knowledge about their specific needs, based on the 9 areas of stewardship. You will also be able to analyze and understand those needs according to the unique demographics of your congregation or organization.

  2. How do I survey my entire congregation/organization/business with the MoneyLife Indicator?

    A trained MoneyLife Indicator Consultant can assist you with a church-wide or organization-wide survey. The trained Consultants will recommend statistical sampling thresholds and methods to achieve optimal participation. They will also work closely with your leadership team to interpret the assessment results and develop a strategic action plan.   3. How much does the assessment cost for my congregation/organization/business?

    The cost of the assessment for your congregation or organization will be based on the number of individuals surveyed. A trained MoneyLife Indicator Consultant will work with you to determine the final price for the actual assessment, as well as the corresponding analysis.

  4. Will the report for my organization or congregation be anonymous?

    Yes. The congregational/organizational assessment, which includes the corresponding Trend Report, is 100% anonymous.

  5. If our scores are low and we want to improve, what are our next steps?

    There are a few avenues available to you. Your MoneyLife Indicator Consultant will recommend resources based on the specific results of your survey. You then have the option to purchase one or more of the resources recommended by the Consultant. Another alternative is to utilize Crown Connect to access Crown curriculum that will address the areas of need identified by the survey.
